“Dudley” is inspired by the Dudley Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, a location very close to my heart as I spent most of my childhood on the Island. Exploring the rolling hills, mist and smatterings of trees, I have explored this place with a bright and dramatic palette allowing the high keyed underpainting to show through in some sections.
