During my Art Residency at the Coorong, South Australia, I walked the sand dunes as the sun slowly set, taking in the shifting colours and tones. This was absolutely magical and I wanted to convey how this special place made me feel. I’ve used multiple layers of very thin glazes to create a sense of the shifting and ethereal light I experienced.
