The Figure – A Celebration of the Human Form at Art Images Gallery

4 July – 3 August 2025 | Art Images Gallery, Adelaide

Art Images Gallery is proud to present “The Figure”, a striking new exhibition that explores the human form through the eyes of 12 contemporary Australian artists. Running from 4 July to 3 August 2025, this group show highlights the power of the figure as a timeless subject in art.

From realism to abstraction, tenderness to bold expression, the artworks in The Figure capture the complexity, vulnerability, and beauty of what it means to be human. The figure becomes not just a subject—but a language, a story, and a mirror to ourselves.

Why “The Figure” Matters

From ancient storytelling to modern identity, the human figure remains one of art’s most enduring and powerful subjects. In The Figure, the body becomes more than just something seen—it becomes a site of memory, a tool for connection, and a reflection of who we are.

Art Images Gallery has long championed figurative art, and this exhibition continues that legacy. Whether you’re a collector, artist, or curious visitor, The Figure is an invitation to reflect, connect, and see the human form in new ways.
