In addition to our services as an art gallery, we offer expert custom framing as a complementary service. Art Images Gallery provides a carefully curated selection of contemporary framing options to suit various styles and budgets.
We specialize in conservation framing, ensuring the aesthetic integrity of your artwork is preserved. By using high-quality archival materials, we safeguard the value and characteristics of your pieces for the long term.
All framing work is carried out with care and precision in our dedicated workshop at the rear of the gallery, and we guarantee the quality of our craftsmanship.
Picture framing plays a vital role in both the protection and presentation of artwork. To fully appreciate a piece, the right frame can make all the difference. Custom framing of original artworks requires a discerning eye and a deep appreciation for fine art.
Understanding the unique nature of each artwork is essential in selecting the best framing option. We use acid-free backing and archival-quality mats to ensure the integrity of your artwork is preserved, with the added benefit of reversibility when required. Our framing solutions are designed to protect and enhance your artwork for years to come.
At Art Images Gallery, we offer custom-made, solid timber stretcher frames, tailored to suit the size and needs of your artwork. Whether it’s an original oil painting or a printed canvas, we provide the ideal solution for stretching your piece.
Our expert team ensures a precise fit using high-quality materials, preserving the integrity of your artwork while providing a durable and secure frame that will last. Whatever the size or type of your artwork, we are committed to delivering the perfect stretch.
A floating tray frame, or shadow frame, is an excellent choice for adding both protection and a polished finish to a stretched painting. These frames create a visually striking effect by allowing the artwork to "float" within the frame, giving it a modern, gallery-quality presentation.
At Art Images Gallery, we offer a carefully curated selection of floating tray frames, each designed to complement and enhance the visual impact of your canvas. These frames not only provide a clean, finished look but also ensure your artwork is securely framed and protected for long-term display.
When it comes to valuable or irreplaceable artwork, conservation framing is essential to protect its integrity. However, conservation framing comes in different levels, and the right approach depends on the specific needs of your piece. Our trained staff will guide you through the options, ensuring you receive expert advice tailored to your artwork.
The causes of artwork deterioration can vary, and while not all factors can be controlled, steps can be taken to minimize damage. Long-term exposure to light and harmful UV rays can be significantly reduced by using premium glazing options like TruVu and Museum Glass. TruVu glass blocks up to 70% of UV light, while Museum Glass offers even greater protection, blocking 90% of UV rays. Both options also substantially reduce glare and reflection compared to standard glass, enhancing the visual clarity of your piece.
If your artwork has been damaged, we can refer you to a specialist in conservation and restoration for proper treatment before we proceed with re-framing. This ensures your artwork is preserved and protected for future generations.
At Art Images Gallery, we offer professional framing and stretching services with special rates for artists. Whether you’re preparing for an exhibition or framing personal work, we provide tailored solutions, including custom stretcher frames and conservation framing options.
Our experienced team understands the unique needs of artists, ensuring your artwork is framed to the highest standard. We also accommodate tight timeframes, making sure your work is ready when you need it, without compromising on quality.
