Wombat

The Wombat, also known as the ‘Bulldozer of the Bush’, is a very powerful, robust and determined creature from Australia. It can also run very fast, reaching up to speeds of 40km per hour, which is very surprising considering it’s short legs!

They also have very strong teeth and jaws and can easily chew through a door if wanting to go out or come in!

This one will not do that, as it is too small measuring only 8cm long x 5cm high.

“How hard can a Wom bat?

Well I don’t know but here are some facts.

They can run very fast on their short stumpy legs,

with a spring in their step they can jump and pounce!

Which is really surprising considering their build,

suited more to burrowing, as they do, in bush or field.”
