This is a Coorong piece painted after a wonderful camping trip there. I keep returning to this location, the colours draw me in initially and link to a lifelong connection with this coastline, but as I sit and draw I become more and more aware of how connected this region is through the river system that joins it to the eastern states, and the migratory birds to the other side of the world.How interconnected we are and how vital this region is to that balance.
