A Unique State combination relief print pays homage to a Peramangk Country grassy woodland remnant whilst highlighting the threat posed by weed invasion. The endemic grasses, relief printed in the negative, expose the threat of an incoming floral invasion that underlies this already fragmented landscape ecology.

The layering of printmaking processes in my practice is a means by which I am able to reflect upon the layers of change that occur within local landscapes and their consequent impacts since European settlement.

Weed invasion, a major cause of habitat loss, poses a significant threat to the biodiversity of the Adelaide Hills.
