Katie Wyatt has been painting professionally since 2007 and is represented in galleries in South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and online. She has held many successful solo exhibitions and has received numerous awards for her work.
Katie is often asked if her paintings are specific locations of a particular scene or area. Rather than being a representation of a place, her pieces are created entirely from memory, recollection, and emotion as a response to experiencing the incredible beauty of our Australian landscape and coastline.
This exhibition “Down to Earth” reflects Katie’s warmth and approachability which she hopes will remind us of the beauty that surrounds us—the landscapes that hold our memories and the emotions that colour our lives.
