For the first time at Art Images Gallery, renowned South Australian Artist, Alison Mitchell will present a solo exhibition of her distinctive still life paintings.
“Painting is a compulsion for me and the result of looking deeply. I work without the aid of photographs, and lay down in paint, purely what is seen and felt. My still life studio is a refuge – a quiet place where I feel as if time stands still, and this stillness becomes encapsulated within my paintings”.
