Australian painter Louise Vadasz presents her first major solo exhibition, Sentimental Values, at Art Images Gallery as part of the 2026 Adelaide Fringe Festival. Running from 13 February to 15 March 2026, this exhibition celebrates intimacy, memory, and the beauty of domestic life.

Vadasz is known for her still life paintings of flowers, blending real and imagined colours with bold, textured oil paint. In Sentimental Values, she incorporates embroidered tablecloths and fabric patterns from her mother, using them as tactile records of domestic care and family heritage. The result is a vibrant exploration of love, memory, and shared emotional history.

Recurring floral motifs in her work convey joy and positive mental wellbeing, while the materiality of the paintings emphasizes the connection between art, memory, and personal history. Though deeply personal, Vadasz’s exhibition invites visitors into a communal and warm experience, celebrating care, inheritance, and human connection.

Experience the delicate balance of colour, pattern, and emotion in Louise Vadasz: Sentimental Values at Art Images Gallery, a standout highlight of the 2026 Adelaide Fringe Festival.
