Adelaide Hills-based ceramic artist Violet Cooper presents her latest solo exhibition at Art Images Gallery from 13 February to 15 March 2026. Known for her playful and characterful ceramics, Cooper’s works blend humour, social observation, and the imperfections of handmade art.

Trained in Visual Communication, Cooper has worked across illustration, public art, mosaics, and community projects. Her distinctive ceramic creations are colourful, detailed, and often anthropomorphic, featuring whimsical handles, legs, and patterns that give each piece its own personality.

Working intuitively from her small studio in the Adelaide Hills, Cooper embraces experimentation. Whether inspired by a joke, a song, or an observation, her hand-built vessels evolve organically, creating a balance of functionality and imaginative storytelling. Each piece invites viewers to laugh, reflect, and find personal connection, offering an approachable and joyful perspective on contemporary ceramics.

Don’t miss the chance to see Violet Cooper’s unique ceramic creations – a celebration of colour, playfulness, and artistic risk – at Art Images Gallery this February and March 2026.
