Sally Browne
Sally Browne is a Sydney-based painter, originally from the UK, working between still life and abstraction. Her paintings often begin with familiar forms; flowers, vessels and fragments of the domestic, before loosening and shifting through the process of painting.
Before completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the National Art School in 2025, Browne built a successful botanical practice, with work held in private collections internationally. Returning to study marked a shift in focus, allowing her to push beyond representation and develop a more open, process-led approach.
