'Silence' portrays a solitary figure seated in a tightly curled posture, their body hunched forward in a gesture of withdrawal or self-protection. The figure, etched with meticulous linework, exudes a sense of emotional depth, as if retreating inward to confront personal battles or find solace in stillness.

Golden triangles, seemingly floating across the figure's body, interrupt the monochromatic tone of the piece. The geometric shapes, rendered in radiant gold leaf, introduce a sense of energy and movement, contrasting with the figure’s introspective stance. These luminous elements add a layer of symbolism, suggesting moments of clarity or enlightenment breaking through the silence.

The juxtaposition of the human form, fragile and tense, with the brilliance of the gold patterns invites a narrative of inner conflict and transformation. 'Silence' evokes a feeling of both isolation and resilience, capturing the tension between vulnerability and the strength found in quiet reflection.

Framing

This artwork is sold framed in a solid black frame with a black mount. All artworks are framed on site using conservation quality materials.

Regular picture framing glass is standard selection for all local orders in Adelaide, and "art acrylic" (Perspex) is used for some interstate orders to avoid potential glass breakage. We also offer higher grades of glass quality to help with reflection reduction and UV protection. Please contact us directly if you require this option or have any questions.

Prints are also available to purchase unframed and rolled in a tube.

International orders must be sent unframed.

This artwork is in our Norwood Gallery and is ready to package for delivery.

We take great care in packaging and will send it with a trusted courier within 3 days of your purchase / completion of any framing.

For orders within Australia, once the package has left the gallery, please allow 2-6 days for the artwork to arrive at your door and be sure there is somebody there to receive it.

For international orders please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery.
