'Night Garden with Native Orchids' started with orchids, but the painting quickly moved away from strict observation. I wanted the flowers to feel almost suspended in the dark, with the garden becoming more imagined as the painting developed. The result sits somewhere between something seen and something remembered.

Framing

This original artwork is currently framed with an off-white mat, in an natural oak frame.
