The Floating World prints are some of the first prints in our Cohabitation Chronicles series. The imagery in all the Cohabitation Chronicles prints includes flora and fauna from our Australian and Californian neighbourhgoods. The large birds of prey depicted here were nesting along a creek that abuts the airport in San Jose, California. The trees and mistletoe are from the Adelaide Hills. The title of these prints references the history of printmaking in Japan and the ambiguous sense of space of the forms.
