This is part of an ongoing series of linocuts celebrating the plants and flowers that grow on kunanyi/Mt Wellington, where I live. The Copperleaf Snowberry (Gaultheria Hispida) thrives in the wet forests and alpine woodlands of kunanyi. I love the red stems, the darkest of dark green leaves and the snowy white berries with the pink tips. It’s a striking plant to come across when the berries are out in Autumn.
