An aerial perspective that is always exhilarating at first glimpse, these Mallee plains extend eastwards from the rolling hills of both Clare and Barossa Valleys all the way to Victoria.
This small canvas attempts to capture the drama of intense summer showers. Most of the picture is taken up with a mass of cloud which throws a dark blue shadow towards the horizon, dwarfing all beneath. Dry stone walls border the road all the way down. Shades of violet and mauve permeate the work to give it a cohesive vibrance.

Framing

This artwork is currently framed in a floating oak tray frame.
