Vessel and Void

This artwork explores the ambiguity of form and the many ways we perceive and experience the ocean. I have a deep, lifelong connection to the sea and its sustaining power. I am continually drawn to the way the ocean and coastline shape our experiences, their colours, forms, and textures shifting in an instant with the changing light, weather, and tides. The forms within this work evoke movement across and through the sea, inviting viewers to reflect on its ever-changing nature and the enduring relationship between people and the marine environment.
