The title Where Wild Flowers Dance continues the story of wildflowers in Amanda’s work where flowers are symbolic of women. Wildflowers, in their natural beauty and resilience, symbolise the untamed spirit of women.

In this exhibition it is through a softer, more nostalgic lens. Rose-tinted hues wash over these works, carrying the warmth of memory and the quiet strength of those who leave their mark on our lives.

Inspired by the artist’s dear friend Rose, who recently passed, this collection reflects on how we hold onto beauty even in difficult times, always looking for the light. Just as wildflowers bloom in the most unexpected places, so too do love, remembrance, and the echoes of those we’ve lost. These paintings embrace the way art and life intertwine, capturing the bittersweet balance of grief and growth, sorrow and softness.

Where Wild Flowers Dance is an invitation to pause, reflect, and find comfort in the way colour lingers, in the way stories continue, and in the quiet, unwavering power of wild things.
