After studying a bachelor of Fine Arts, her journey in glass began with a two-year traineeship at the renowned JamFactory in Adelaide, laying the foundation for a deeply rooted artistic practice. Amanda’s dedication to expanding her knowledge has led her to international opportunities, including a research residency in Tokyo, studio placements in the UK, and participation in prestigious programs at Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle and the Corning Museum of Glass in New York. She has also undertaken residencies at Northlands Creative in Scotland and Canberra Glassworks, further refining her craft and artistic voice.
