This work was inspired by the words of Nick Cave from his film One
More Time with Feeling, which was made shortly after the tragic death of his son. For me, they express feelings of deep sadness but also a profound sense of connection to all that is seen and all that in not seen. This piece was painted alongside ‘Sing the Stars, Sing the Rain’ which also reflects this inspiration and would partner nicely with this work.
