Adelaide artist Tracy Chaplin, started her label Gretel Girl in 2010, building a distinctive style of art that takes on a mixture of forms, but always featuring her characteristic hand-drawn illustrations, that often mix reality with the unusual. She has become well-known for her quirky animal characters, and loves to craft stories inspired by small moments in life, showcasing them using vintage fabrics, plates, reclaimed wood, and canvases. Featuring in the ‘Animal House’ exhibition, Chaplin has created a new collection of work titled ‘Class of ‘87’ featuring some very cool and fashionable furry friends.
