Her wheel-thrown vessels combine sculptural form with an expressive approach to colour and glaze, drawing inspiration from the natural world and our enduring connection to it.

Central to Nikki’s practice is an ongoing fascination with glaze chemistry and the unpredictability of the firing process. Through continual experimentation, she embraces unexpected results and subtle variations, producing pieces that are both richly individual and inherently unique.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0866/3485/6769/files/7f5f044b-4835-4ccb-830c-e4825186db1e-l.jpg?v=1791438334
mauve-rust-arches-vase
Mauve Rust Arches - Vase

Wheel thrown in a dark stoneware clay blend, this piece was created using several glazes including my copper-based Peach Flambé formula base, paired with a complimentary translucent glaze where the overlapping arches meet.
