Working predominantly in bronze, Mela creates finely detailed figures that explore the human form, movement and character. Her background as a physiotherapist informs her understanding of anatomy and gesture, while her process begins in clay, allowing her to capture subtle detail and expression.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe exhibition features works from Mela’s recent Women in Action series, celebrating sportswomen through dynamic studies of movement and strength.
