Mark Judd

Adelaide artist Mark Judd has been practising as a self taught artist for most of his life. Although not driven by any one subject, Mark tends to revisit, the sea, urban and industrial landscapes and food as his main themes. Not to mention gnomes! Although his subjects may vary greatly his technique and media are consistent, using vibrant oil colours, confident brush strokes and compelling compositions. Recently discovering a passion for three dimensional work, Mark now makes exquisite sculptures often incorporating model-making and found objects in wood and metal.

Judd has won numerous awards and commendations in Adelaide and Country Arts and been a finalist 6 times in the Fleurieu Art Prize including 2016 and a finalist for the Waterhouse Natural History Science Prize also in 2016. He has held two solo exhibitions with Art Images in 2010 and 2014, as well as various group exhibitions over the years.
